Miss Mazzy! Spring!

First up, we'll of course have to start with "Miss Mazzy" from when we were in 8th grade. The funny thing about most of these songs is that they were recorded on my old karaoke machine - which I don't think was ever even used for karaoke. Older recordings recorded on just a tape deck mic were either misplaced, recorded over, or stolen by my brother Nathan (to which we blame for a lot of tapes) and recorded over. Anyway, amazingly overall the sound quality through the years is decent. Later in high school the microphones started going out, but that just gives the songs a little more flavor.

Anyway, "Miss Mazzy" and "Spring" were based loosely on two girls named Heather and Rachel, aka Mazzy and Spring, that we met one day outside of school while we were rollerblading. We recorded "Miss Mazzy" and it was an instant hit! ;) Heather (Spring) was jealous so we then had to make the song "Spring", which never achieved the widespread acclaim of "Miss Mazzy".
